Holiday Crafts
This year’s festival features all day opportunities for hands-on activities. Cookie decorating, card making, jingle bell craft and Christmas crafts will delight the youngest members of the family. All craft activities are free of charge (see schedule for times and locations)
Santa’s Workshop
Give your child the chance to shop for family members with a personal shopper and have their selections wrapped and ready to put under the the tree. There is no charge but a donation of canned goods to benefit area food pantries is requested. (Event will be held at the Neighborhood House from 12 -2:30 PM.)
Please note that Santa’s Workshop is accepting donations of new or gently used items appropriate for gifting, shopping bags and wrapping supplies. Donations accepted at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Northeast Harbor and Somesville locations.

Greet Mr. and Mrs. Claus as they arrive on the Maine Seacoast Mission’s Sunbeam. Music and carols and fun for all.
Visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus
Follow the Clauses as they ride up Sea Street on a fire truck then visit with them on the porch of Carter’s Real Estate on Main Street
Santa’s Mailbox
From late November to mid December, Santa’s mailbox will be outside the Great Harbor Maritime Museum in Northeast Harbor. Letters including full name and return address will be answered by one of Santa’s helpers.

What you need to know
There is no charge to attend any of the events except for the Italian Dinner and Concert. Children who wish to shop at Santa’s workshop are asked to bring a donation of canned goods or make a cash donation to benefit area food pantries.
The festival is held rain or shine.
Food will be available for purchase throughout the day (see Food tab).
The festival takes place throughout Northeast Harbor. The Visitor Information Center in the marina will be open and provide printed schedules of events and directions.
There is plenty of free parking available at the marina in Northeast Harbor. Take your first left onto Harbor Drive as you come into town to reach the parking area. It is a short walk up Sea Street to the events downtown.
Restrooms are available at the marina at the end of the Visitor Center building.
